Welcome to my piano studio! My name is Chris, and I am passionate about sharing the artistry and joy of playing the piano with students of all ages and levels.
About Chris
How it all started
My interest in the Piano began at an early age as I studied under my grandmother, Anna Mitchell. I have been playing the piano for over 29 years. I traveled to music conferences in Europe and was one of few selected one summer to attend the International Music School of Stavanger in Norway.
I received a scholarship upon graduating from Blacksburg High and graduated Longwood University with a Bachelor of Music concentration Piano Pedagogy. Through the years, I have enjoyed teaching piano to adults and children and performing at local venues. I give lessons out of my home studio in Blacksburg, Virginia.

Located in Blacksburg, my private piano studio provides a comfortable and dedicated space where students can fully immerse themselves in the world of music.
Equipped with a high-quality acoustic piano, along with essential teaching materials, my studio is optimized for effective and enjoyable learning. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and free from distractions, allowing students to focus wholeheartedly on their musical development.
